EMPIRE STAGE THEATER Presents The South Florida Premiere of BOYS OF A CERTAIN AGE by Dan Fingerman & Directed by Jeffrey Bruce BOYS OF A CERTAIN AGE by Dan Fingerman premiered at the 2016 Fresh Fruit Festival. It's sold-out run broke the Festival record and it won the Audience Favorite Award. Ira and Larry were Hebrew school classmates who took different paths in life. Ira came out and moved to the city; Larry got married, had a family and came out later in life. Now they’re spending one memorable weekend together with Larry’s son Bryan, Ira’s nephew Christopher and a whole lot of gay history. The setting is a beach house on Fire Island.

EMPIRE STAGE THEATER & THE GOLDEN GAYS NYC PRESENT: THANK YULE FOR BEING A FRIEND, A Golden Girls Holiday Musical Adventure December 11 - December 22 ‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the store, each department was dripping with Yuletide decor. Sophia was nestled all snug in her bed, while visions of sugar prunes danced in her head. Before traveling to spend the Holidays with their families, Blanche, Dorothy, and Rose participate in a golden gift exchange full of hilarious surprises. But just as they get to the airport a winter storm blows in, leaving them trapped! In an unexpected Charles Dickens twist of events, the three grannies must visit their past, present, and future to save Christmas (and find Sophia)...just in time for turkey lurkey! Lucky audience members may even have a chance to make their stage debut with the bosom buddies and become the next #TokenSophia!
